Grosvenor House
ca 1780

12 Drostdy Street

One of the earliest double storey homes in Stellenbosch and certainly the most elegant. After serving as a dwelling house for many generations, it became a boarding house and then an art gallery: The Philimore Ives Memorial Gallery.
The Stellenbosch Museum was founded here in 1962.
