Anna Maria keeps house for the king and makes sure that the larder is amply filled. She assists the cook with meals, and she does the shopping. Today, she's arranging the flowers in the vases.
Ambling through the garden, she finds the letters lying on the lawn: an O, a K and a Z.
She has an idea what has happened here. Zettelwitz the wizard is always playing tricks on people. There's his magic wand lying on the grass as well.
As soon as she picks it up, it begins to wave and to shake. It's easy to see that the magic wand wants to get back to the Z.
Oh dear! Alas!
The wand races back to its owner, landing on the Z – and changes it back to the wizard!
With an awful laugh, Zettelwitz the wizard grabs the wand.
"Well done Anna Maria, thank you very much! I'll soon have you in my collection too!"
